"El Dia De Reyes" (or The 3 Wise Men Day) in Puerto Rico is a very important Holiday on the Christmas season. Although children here (PR) do get some toys on Christmas Day it is on El Dia De Los Reyes Magos when they get most of the toys and clothes as gifts. Many towns celebrate this day with people impersonating the Reyes Magos and giving away candies and gifts. It is a reason for families to throw big parties and family gatherings. In Puerto Rico, children do not put their shoes on the window like they do in Mexico. What they do is they put water and fresh cut grass near their beds for the Wise Men camels to eat. The next morning, the grass is gone and the children wake up to open the presents the "Reyes" put under or beside their beds.

For my project I decided to make a picture frame.
- Stamp and color The Three Wise Men, The Nativity and a Star. I used "NACIMIENTO" stamp set from Stampin Up *** (Estampe con sellos de goma Los 3 Reyes Magos, El Nacimiento y la Estrella.
- Embellish cut out shapes with heat embossing, crystals or rhinestones, etc. ***(Decore los cortes con cristales, "heat embossing)
- Tear some strips of sand color cardstock, shape with your hands and ink. Glue them to the picture frame to make the "sand".
- glue the 3 Wise Men and the Nativity to the "sand".
- glue the star to "sky". ***(Pegue la estrella al "cielo")
- Glue dome alphabet stickers for the title: " El Dia De Reyes".
- Put a picture inside the frame. ***(Ponga una foto dentro del marco).
