My Dad, the King of The Grill !!! Fathers Day card.

 

Hello everyone !!!! I made this card for my little grandson Santiago for him to give to his daddy on Fathers Day. My Son in Law is a Stay at Home Dad until his results from the USMLE come in and may I say, his is the greatest dad ever !!!! My grandson adores him. Also, he makes the best grilled pork tenderloin in the planet. And, that is the theme for his card. You may notice that on the card, their dog Coby is waiting to taste the meat, just like in real life. LOL !!!!

• RECIPE:
• cartridges:
• Blast Off: Letters
• Block Party: dog, dog food bowl, BBQ, chef

• Martha Stewart Fence border punch
• Imaginisce Heat Setting Tool and gems
• Sakura Glitter Pens
• Green ink dabber
• pop dots for dimension
• Corner Chomper
• American Crafts white cardstock
• Stampin Up Kraft cardstock

• Print and cut the shapes needed. Add embellishments.

• Make a card base 5x7 (folded) from kraft cardstock.
• Glue the white fence to it.
• Ink/color the bottom part of the card with green ink.

•  Glue the words "PAPA" (or DAD) to the card. Use dimensional dots to glue the other images.

Fathers Day Card (penguin) / Tarjeta Dia de Los Padres (pinguino)

HI !!! Happy 1st day of June !!! Time to start thinking of Christmas Cards !!! LOL Well, everybody knows how protective father penguins are of their babies, just like my son in law is of my grandson, Santiago.  I designed this cute, cute Fathers Day Card for my grandson to give to his dad on Fathers Day. The Cricut cartridges used were:
*** Holaaaa !!! Feliz primer dia de junio!!! Me parece un buen mes para comenzar a pensar en las tarjetas de Navidad !!! :D Bueno, todo el mundo sabe como los papas pinguinos protegen a sus pinguinitos, tal como mi yerno protege a mi nietecito Santiago. Dise~ne esta tarjeta, para que mi nietecito se la entregue a su papa el Dia de Los Padres. Estos son los cartuchos de Cricut que use:

• Create A Critter: penguins, "just chillin" (pinguinos, "just chillin")
• Everyday Paper Dolls: Beach ball, palm leaves (bola de playa, hojas de palma)

Other materials used:

• Stampin Up Stampin Pastels: for the cheeks (Para las mejillas)
• brad: beach ball (bola de playa)
• Stampin Up Classic Stampin Pad in basic Gray: Inking borders ( sombrear orillas)
• fine point marker (marcador de punta fina): used to write "with Dad" (se uso para escribir "with Dad", que signigica "con papa").
