HiPPiTty HoP Blog Hop-Easter Card for My Soldier

Good morning everyone and thank you for joining me on another blog hop. This time it is Jess's HiPPiTy HoP blog hop and once again I feel very honored and happy to be taking part in this event. If you landed here from Sigrid's blog at http://lovescrapreflect.blogspot.com/ you are on the right track !!! If for any reason you need to start at the top of this hop, then click HERE.
Our only rule on this hop was to make anything with a bunny. SIMPLE. So I made a card for my son Brandon, my soldier in AIT in Georgia ... far from home.

RECIPE:

  • Cut the parts to make the bunny. Ink all bunny parts.
  • Put bunny together and embellish
  • Make the base for the card and add the fence, grass and sentiment.
  • Do notice how nice the sentiment looks with the Doodlebug flocking.

Thank you so much for stopping by. Guess what ??? Meighen is waiting for you with her project !!! All you have to do is click HERE !!!

There is a Grand Prize: a Gift Pack by PSA Essentials; retail price:$125.00
A random winner will be selected from all the comments left along the blog.

Hi there !!!! First of all, I want to thank Tammy and Angela for giving me the oportunity to show them around when their cruise stopped at San Juan, Puerto Rico's port. We had so much fun. Wish we have had more time :(
From today on, for three months, I will have the pleasure and the honor of posting a Cricut Imagine project on this blog every Saturday. Today, I will start with an Easter project... yes, because I know that everyone is so ready for spring. I made the cutest Easter gift bag. :)

Recipe:

Imagine cartridges: Blossom (yellow background); Nursery Tails (lamb, bird on branch)
Cricut cartridge: Easter (fonts)
Embossing folder: Cuttlebug Divine Swirls
White cardstock: American Crafts
Stickles
Liquid Applique by Marvy Uchida to create the "wool" on lamb.
  • Flood fill to create pattern paper for background:

  • Cut out shapes and decorate; emboss background, and put together:

  • Cut background to fix the front of the bag - Decorate corners with a punch - Affix to bag - Glue "Happy     Easter" to background.
